Entrepreneurship started at an early age for Arejay. By the age of 16 and the dawn of the internet, he ran a profitable apparel business selling shoes and hats purchased at a discount from wholesaler’s online. The business thrived in college as his knowledge of the financial world expanded. After receiving his Master’s Degree from North Carolina State University, Arejay hit the ground running. His work experience includes a career as a Financial Advisor, Revenue Agent with the Department of Treasury, Internal Auditor for RBC Bank, and Fraud & Investigations Associate for PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.

Arejay’s commitment to the community started while attending NC State. A Dollar & A Dream community service initiative, started by Arejay in 2006, was a financial literacy campaign designed to educate and inform under-served communities and individuals on the harsh financial realities they faced in the past, present, and possible future. The objective was not only to educate but to also provide simple solutions to help combat these problems and reverse these unfortunate trends. Arejay has taken his initiative to the next level, now providing tailored presentations & workshops to numerous individuals, corporations, and non-profit organizations.

Taking from his own personal experiences as they relate to entrepreneurship & finance, the road to success has been anything but easy. The hustle, drive, tenacity, and positive outlook Arejay has shown during challenging times has led to not only a more empowered personal life, but a more rewarding life as well.
